Program Commitments

I agree to uphold the highest ethical standards in my research this summer. I agree to commit full-time to my research and will not take on additional responsibilities such as other employment or class work without the expressed written consent of my faculty sponsor and the executive director. I understand that the program consists of the following three parts: nine weeks of full time work this summer, a final written report, and participation in four mandatory meetings: two informational gatherings (in December and March) and two Fall 2012 conferences. The first conference will be on a Friday afternoon in September at Willamette University, where I agree to prepare a short oral presentation. The second conference, which is being held at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, will be on a Friday and Saturday in November where I agree to present a poster. I understand that the deadline for the final report is at the discretion of the faculty sponsor. If I do not fulfill my commitments to the program, I agree to forgo future payments.
