Michele Ainza is an Adjunct Professor at Willamette University, a Dance Instructor and Director of the Cami Curtis Performance Company, and Artistic Director of Michele Ainza Dance (MAD). She has been on faculty at The University of Veracruz, Mexico, Fresno City College, Linfield College, and Lewis and Clark College. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Choreography from California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles, where she concentrated on feminist studies and dance for video. Ainza received her certification in Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentals from the Integrated Movement Studies based out of the University of Utah. Her dance and choreographic experience has spanned over 15 years throughout the United States, Mexico, and Eastern Europe.
