Biography

Brent T. Barnes, (Guest Actor/Vocal Coach) is an actor/teacher/vocal coach. He was an ensemble member of Hypatia Theatre Company in Chicago. He appeared Off-Broadway in Grasmere by Kristina Leach, continuing on with the production to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Recent Chicago credits: The Three Sisters and What Dreams May Come: American Visions Through Jewish Eyes, directed by Joyce Piven at Piven Theatre Workshop; Pans of the Messiah and Into the Numbers" at Silk Road Theatre Project; Romeo and Juliet with Theatre Classics; The Christmas Schooner at The Bailiwick; and the 1st workshop of Angels \/ Angles for Hypatia Theatre Company.

Regional Theatre credits: he has been a company member with the Utah Shakespearean Festival for the past sixteen seasons - Currently: understudy for Lloyd, Freddie and Selsdon in Noises Off and Charlie Cowell, Olin, Oliver, Ewart and Jacey in The Music Man.

Levi in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor...(Fred C. Adams); A Christmas Carol at McCarter Theatre; and the U.S. premiere of The Parfumerie by Miklós László at Summer Studio Theatre Company in Urbana, IL. He was voice and Text Coach for The Lover and The Collection at Piven Theatre Workshop.

Brent Barnes is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting.
