Visiting
Assistant Professor of History Wendy Petersen
Boring teaches part time in the Religion Department at Willamette. She
received her M.A.R. and Ph.D. from Yale University in Religious Studies
and her B.A. from Willamette University in History. Her areas of teaching
and research interest include history of Christian thought, gender, women
and religion, mysticism, and philosophy of religion. She lives in Salem
with her husband, Matt, and two children, Emily (8) and Aaron (5). When
she's not teaching or writing she can usually be found playing at the
park with her kids, at the beach, in the mountains, or in her garden. |
