Like World Views students, Greg Felker is an enthusiastic newcomer to Willamette University. He received his B.A. in Politics and Economics in 1988 from Boston University. He received a Master of Public & International Affairs (M.P.A.) in 1992 and a Ph.D. in 1998 from Princeton University. Prof. Felker served on the faculty of the Division of Social Science at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology until 2004, and has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Maryland (2002-2003) and Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok, Thailand; 2005). His current research and writing interests include the political economy of development and globalization in Asia, the politics of regionalism, and the role of science & technology in social change and international affairs. Prof. Felker will teach in the areas of International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Asian Studies at Willamette.
