| August 27 - December 13, 2013 and January 13 - May 9, 2014 Monday - Friday 7:30 - 11:00 a.m. Cone Chapel | Cone Chapel is open weekday mornings during the school year (unless the university is closed for a holiday) to give members of the campus community a quiet space for private or informal small group prayer or meditation. |
| Mid-Week Prayer Service | |
| August 28 - December 11, 2013 and January 15 - May 7, 2013 Wednesdays 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. Cone Chapel | Chaplain Karen Wood will lead an informal Christian prayer service, using liturgy from the Iona and Taizé communities and a meditative reading and reflection on a short passage of scripture. Everyone is invited to come! |

| Mindfulness Meditation | |
| August 29 - December 5, 2013 and January 16 - May 1, 2014 Thursdays 4:15 - 5:00 p.m. Cone Chapel, Waller Hall | The practice of mindfulness refers to our efforts and discipline at being fully present in the now, of living in the present moment. Mindfulness practice nourishes an understanding of the interconnectedness of our lives with the larger world we inhabit, allowing us to develop an enhanced awareness of the present, a stillness that cultivates a mind of love, compassion, kindness and peace. Beginners are most welcome! |
