Behavioral Concern

The University may consult to assess behavior, and respond to a student’s behavior that causes concern, especially when:

• A student allegedly violates the Standards of Conduct, or
• The Director of Rights and Responsibilities or designee believes that a physical or mental health issue may be interfering with the student’s ability to abide by these standards, or
• Other information is presented regarding a student’s ability to perform in, or adapt to, the university setting. 

The consultation may include sharing information from a student’s educational record.  In this circumstance, the Director of Rights and Responsibilities or designee may require the student to meet with others for support, evaluation and/or treatment.
