Recruit Volunteers

Willamette University students give over 14,000 hours per year in volunteer work serving in over 130 agencies. They complete this service as a part of a service-learning course; as a member of a student organization; participating in a program sponsored by our office; or as an added individual activity. The best way to recruit volunteers is to post your information on the current opportunities database and to attend the Internship and Volunteer Fair in the fall.

Students at Willamette University have very busy schedules. Providing volunteer opportunities that are short-term is the best way to get students in the door. Once they have developed a connection with your agency they will be able to determine how they can build in a long-term commitment.
