Community Service Learning

Partnership Programs

Partnership Programs are programs that are coordinated by Willamette University through intentional partnerships with community organizations. They are great places to get plugged into ongoing service with other Willamette students!

Take-a-Break is a student-run alternative break program that sends groups of students, faculty, and staff to communities throughout Oregon and the United States to learn and serve.

Tiger Club is a student-run afterschool program for underachieving students at Bush Elementary School (located across the street from Kaneko!).

South Salem High School Partnership Program is a partnership that connects Willamette students to tutoring, mentoring, and classroom assistance opportunities at South Salem High School.

Chemawa Indian School Partnership Program is a partnership that connects Willamette students to tutoring and learning opportunities at Chemawa Indian School. Participation in the IDS 205 service-learning course is required.

Willamette Academy is a great spot to volunteer on campus! Volunteers can tutor youth in the community to support their access to higher education.
