Community-Based Work Study Opportunities
Community-based work study provides students with the opportunity to earn their financial aid awards (federal work-study allotments) through employment at off-campus community agencies such as local non-profit organizations and community schools. Through community-based work study, students learn about existing needs in the community, address those needs through service, gain valuable work experience, and develop meaningful relationships with their community. Students who have received federal work study money are eligible to participate in community-based work study.
