Volunteer as a Participant
Take a Break (TaB) is a student-led alternative break program that places small groups of Willamette University students, staff, and faculty in communities across the United States to engage in community service and experiential learning.
Participant applications will be released in mid-November.
Spring 2014 trips will be announced in November.
How much does it cost?
Participants pay a trip fee based on whether they attend a driving trip or a flying trip. The trip fee for a driving trip will be $100 and the trip fee for a flying trip will be $250.
All participants are expected to engage in fundraising activities.
Trips will focus in the following areas:
- Youth Homelessness
- Sustainability
- Immigration
- Poverty
