Bill and Ann Shepard Legal Scholarship Fund
The Bill and Ann Shepherd Legal Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to third-year law students dedicated to keeping Oregon a hate-free state. To be eligible for scholarship consideration, a candidate must: 1) be committed to equal rights and justice for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered persons 2) be a citizen of the United States 3) be a student at an accredited law school 4) demonstrate the potential to complete his/her law program successfully 5) and demonstrate the intent to practice law and promote the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community.
