Welcome to Health Services

Student Health Services are available to all Willamette University students enrolled half time or more.

  • No office visit fee for illness and injury evaluation and treatment
  • Fees are charged for lab work, medications, immunizations, and study abroad physicals (charges billed to student account)
  • Students are seen by appointment
  • Drop in triage hours are available each day; acute needs are given priority

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Drop-in Triage Hours

Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Waits are generally shorter the earlier you come in this time segment.

Drop-in Immunization Hours:

Monday-Friday: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Mission

The mission of the health center is to provide health services that are holistic, recognizing and influencing the physical, mental, environmental, social, and spiritual well being of the individual and the Willamette community. Student diversity is respected and cultivated. Emphasis on health and wellness education is a primary focus, and staff strives to empower students as partners in their own well being. We offer accessible, compassionate and confidential care from professional staff who act as resources and motivational agents for positive change. Relationships with community providers or resources are facilitated as appropriate to the student's needs. The health center staff acts as an integrated team to adapt to the changing needs of the Willamette students and community.

Emergencies

If you have a serious health problem or injury after hours/weekends on campus, call 6911 for asssistance from Campus Safety and Security.

They will dispatch the Willamette Emergency Medical Services (WEMS) to assist in evaluation. If further medical care is needed, Campus Safety will arrange transportation to the appropriate facility.

Important Vaccine Information

HPV Vaccine

HPV Vaccination-Gardasil is now available at the Health Services. We offer this vaccination for $140 per shot. The series is 3 shots with the 2nd dose given 2 months after the 1st dose and the 3rd given 6 months after the 1st dose. Contact the Health Services for more information.
