Study Groups

Coming soon! In Fall 2012, the first floor of Ford Hall will be reconfigured as a "Learning Commons." This will provide a prime space for group study. Students will find technologies, white/glass boards, and study spaces that will facilitate successful study groups.

Studying with others promotes deeper engagement with the material one is trying to learn. Academic Support will help you form study groups and suggest strategies for getting the most out of them.

Study Group Tips

Form groups of 3-4 people
Rotate leadership of the group
Set ground rules for interaction, how to interrupt, that challenge and disagreement are acceptable
