Backyard Farming: Agricultural Innovations in Southeast Portland
In the news we hear a lot about urban agriculture, but what are the lives like of those who try to do it for a living?  This summer Peter Henry worked with people who farm community backyards to provide food for land-lenders, CSA subscribers, volunteers and the farmers themselves.  This creative new form of agriculture has the potential to reshape the way people think about urban land-use, monetary exchange and consumer culture.

Refreshments will be served.

Creating Your Big Life Plan

Spring Semester dates and locations to be announced.

Students, do you . . .

• Need help identifying values or interests?
• Wonder if you have chosen the wrong major?
• Want to explore vocational areas?
• Wonder why you are here?
• Wonder what you might be able to do with your degree?

Come and join other students pursuing these questions and work on your Big Life Plan - a 6-week workshop that will help you identify, refine and articulate your plans for your life.

BLP workshops are free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.  Interested students should contact Holli Davenport in the Lilly Project office (x6213) o be added to the notification/information list.
