Founded in 1967, Lingnan University is the only liberal arts university in Hong Kong. It's location in Hong Kong (a transportation, communications, business and cultural hub for China and the Asia-Pacific region) and the geo-political significance of Hong Kong and it's recent transition from being a British Colony to a Special Administrative Region of China makes it an intriguing location for students. There are approximately 3,000 undergraduate students who attend Lingnan, many of whom live on campus. There is a strong culture of service learning at Lingnan and there are many active student clubs and organizations (including an international buddy club) as well. Minimum GPA required by host program: 2.5 GPA.
