Overview
An exchange program available to both male and female students, Ewah Womans University was founded in 1866 and is one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. Ewah is responsible for many "firsts" in Korean history: the first female doctor, the first female lawyer, and the first female justice on the Constitutional Court, and the first female Prime Minster of Korea are all Ewah graduates. The university is located 10 minutes from the heart of downtown Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea. Seoul has a population of approximately 11 million people. Ewah, with an enrollment of over 24,000, students it is the largest women's university in the world with excellent academic programs and facilities.
Academics
In the pursuit of globalization, professionalism and scientific of education, Ewha offers a variety of high-quality courses in a wide various fields including studies on Asia and Korea. Some of the strongest fields at Ewha include international studies, Women’s Studies, Korean studies, North Korean studies, and Asian studies. The undergraduate college offers programs in economics, television and film, history, psychology, music, dance, art and design, and philosophy.

Scroll down the page to find the specific department that you are interested in under the divisions and departments heading. All exchange and visiting students are required to take a minimum of 9 credits and a maximum of 18 credits per semester.
With 30% of each departments coursework being taught in English, there are many courses available to Willamette students.For coursework being taught in English follow this link to their English coursework listing. Select the academic term, click search, and then select the "undergraduate" option in the drop-down menu. Students may also take Korean Language coursework as a component of their studies at Ewah.
Housing
Students will live on campus in the Ewha-Samsung International House. Accommodations are typically a double room shared with another international student. Students eat their meals in one of the cafeterias located on Ewah's campus. Students can find information about housing costs on Ewah's International Programs Page. Dates
Programs are available during the fall semester, spring semester, or as a full year option.
