Approved Students

Students who have been approved by their universities to study abroad on the Granada, Spain Program will use this page to prepare for the experience in Granada. If you have not been approved to study abroad through your host institution please see How to Apply under Program Overview.

This page will be used as the central organizational medium for all approved students. Students, as you prepare to study abroad you will use this page to submit online forms, review course information and find resources to help you prepare for your semester abroad.

Forms

  • Application for Approved Students, Spring 2010 - Due August 21st. This application will collect basic information that will be passed along to the Onsite Director in Granada. Please be thorough and complete. You cannot save and return to this form, therefore, please prepare the following information before filling out the form.
    • Basic personal information including: passport number, passport expiration date (if you have a passport), contact information, emergency contact information etc.
    • Academic information including: major, minor, GPA.
    • Spanish language background.
    • Essays- write about 500 words for each of the following two questions. Send the essays via email to Stacy West at swest@willamette.edu, in the subject line write: Granada Approved Student Essays.
      • In Spanish: Introduce yourself to your potential homestay family. Describe yourself, your passions, your characteristics and why you are studying abroad in Granada, Spain.
      • In English: Describe your goals for your semester studying in Granada. How will you prepare for this cultural immersion experience prior to departure?
  • Self Disclosure Medical Form - Due October 1st
  • Course Selection Form - Due October 1st
  • Homestay Experience Form - Due October 1st
