Sigma Alpha Epsilon
At Sigma Alpha Epsilon, campus involvement is a common sight. While achieving prominence in athletics at Willamette University, the members are also seen across campus involved in many other activities and volunteer organizations. While attaining success as athletes, the members of SAE sacrifice little in terms of academics. The membership represents a broad array of majors and study focuses, reflecting a commitment to scholarship. Becoming a member of SAE opens up a world of leadership opportunities, as well as provides a network of learning resources. SAE prides itself on the life-long bonds of brotherhood and friendship that are fostered throughout the time spent together at Willamette. They follow their national creed, "The true gentleman", which expounds such virtues as humbleness, strength, sincerity and honor. Greek Life as a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon is the first step in beginning a successful, enriched life at Willamette University.
Founded locally on March 19, 1949. Founded nationally on March 9, 1856.
