Phi Delta Theta

One of Phi Delta Theta's strongest and most obvious characteristics is their diversity - the members representing multiple races, religions and nationalities. Yet this fact has only increased their uncompromising unity as a chapter. Phi Delta Theta values and seeks in men the Three Cardinal Principles, the standard by which Phi Delts measure themselves. Friendship, Sound Learning and Moral Rectitude are the core elements of Phi Delta Theta and can easily be seen in the everyday workings of the Oregon Gamma chapter. The membership serves not only to strengthen the Willamette community but also to make each member a better man. Phi Delta Theta also reflects an uncompromising standard of academics. Their presence can be felt across campus in all manner of positions of leadership and importance, a testament to the fact that membership in Phi Delta Theta truly prepares men for the leadership of the future.

Founded locally on January 4, 1947. Founded nationally on December 26, 1848.
