Interests and Hobbies

In my free time one of my hobbies is reading books by feminist Latino American women writers. Also I like to watch a lot of international movies. That said I am not a fan of Hollywood, but there is some movies that deserve the time watching. I like to watch a lot of movies by Spanish movie directors such as Almodovar, Gillermo del Toro and others such as Gael Garcia and Diego Luna. In my free time, especially in the winter season my favorite thing to do is watch artistic international movies with other friends. In the summer time, I like to play a little soccer.

Favorite Class at WU

I have a lot of classes that I have enjoyed. I would say a few of them would be Intro to AES, Navigating Social Worlds, SOC theory and Spanish literary studies.

Favorite Event at WU

Choosing one is hard, but I like the Cinco de Mayo event, and the Border Fence Project. Plus, maybe the tree lighting and holiday celebrations events during that season.

Favorite Restaurant in Salem

There is lots of small restaurants that I like what they have. It all depends on what type of food I would like to eat certain day. For Thai, I like the Thai Orchid restaurant. For Mexican, La Hacienda. For Italian Gameberetti. For Homestyle American, Annette’s.

Fun Facts

For some reason I learned the Greek alphabet very, very young and until this day I can still remember it. I have no idea why did I picked up the Greek alphabet. I am allergic to apples which is strange.
