Favorite Class at WU
I would say Urban Sociology. It was a way to experience the city and everything around it in a way I had never learned to do so. Also, Intro to American Ethnic Studies helped see and understand my experiences as a Woman of Color in a new light.

Last spring, we had a spoken word night at the Bistro where people were able to voice their truths. It was beautiful!

Wulapalooza because the music is amazing and there are a lot of neat booths. Music and food bring in people and are a way to bond, create memories, and have fun.

Toss up between Fuji Rice Time and La Perla. Rice Time has really delicious yakisoba and is a nice place to go. The people are friendly. La Perla has pretty good tacos for 99 cents and helps quench the hunger.

Left handed (apparently more prone for work-related injuries), Harry Potter nerd, huge coffee drinker. I like trees--especially climbing them. Fear of snakes like anacondas. I have crazy dreams.

I'm going to have to say Lu'au. It is an experience that I am fortunate to have been a part of with so many wonderful people you get to know and love. We have a large and diverse group of people working to put on this celebration and we have the opportunity to share a little bit of home and our way of life with Willamette.

The restaurant on Hill Street next to a karate studio. I can never remember what it's called but it is really good because they make you aguas frescas at a great price and it's within walking distance.

I love to travel, love and laugh. I can't live without my mother's "chiles rellenos," homemade salsa, tortillas and beans with pizza. I am also addicted to "Bubu Lubu's."
