Madeleine Chapman

My name is Madi and I would love to welcome you to the start of your Willamette experience!  I hope you are getting incredibly excited about starting college and going on this service-learning adventure. Here is just a little bit about me: I grew up just south of Denver, CO with a view of the Rocky Mountains out my bedroom window.  I was definitely always considered the teacher's pet/goodie-two-shoes/etc...and I was fine and dandy with those titles.  I love learning, and I love to focus my learning on how I can use it to benefit those around me.  One of my goals in life is to love everyone I am around in however I am capable and is needed for each person separately.  Because of this, I hope to be an elementary school counselor.  Thus, my favorite service projects are those that deal with young children.  I look forward to meeting you and sharing the opportunity to serve those who surround us.  Have a wonderful summer!
