Payroll

The Payroll office, located on the first floor of Waller Hall, handles payroll processing and distribution for Willamette University staff and students. The Payroll office is open from: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Student Payroll

Willamette University is on a monthly payroll cycle. Undergraduate student paychecks are delivered to their campus boxes on the last working day of each month; graduate student paychecks are delivered to Student Services. At the end of each semester, students may submit self addressed stamped envelopes for paychecks to be mailed to their homes.

Campus job information is available in the Financial Aid office.

Required Forms

An I-9 and W-4 form must be completed within three (3) days of hire. These forms must be completed and submitted to the student payroll office.

Please read the back of the I-9 form for a list of acceptable documents of identification and complete only Section 1 of the form.

Staff Payroll

Willamette University is on a monthly payroll cycle with payday generally the last working day of the month.

Direct Deposit of wages is available for all employees. Direct deposit form

Time sheets and leave reporting are due by the 15th of each month.

Benefit Changes

Any tax withholding or benefit enrollment change must be submitted to Human Resources by the 15th of the month to ensure inclusion in that month's payroll.
