Dates to Remember
May 2013
| May 1, 2, 5 | CLA Study Days. |
| May 3 | CLA finals begin. (Check out time is 24 hours after your last final or Thursday noon for Wednesday for finals.) |
| May 6-7 | AGSM finals. |
| May 8 | Apartments close at noon for 1st year AGSM students. |
| May 8 | CLA finals end. Lunch is the last contract meal of the semester. |
| May 9 | Greek houses, residence halls and apartments (CLA lease) close at noon. |
| May 10 | Last day for juniors, seniors and graduate students to cancel their housing contract/lease for 2013-2014 to move off campus without paying the non-negotiable cancellation penalty. |
| May 12 | Commencement. |
| May 13 | CLA, Law and AGSM Graduates check out by noon. |
| Week of May 20 | Housing packets mailed to new admits who have paid the advanced deposit. |
June & July 2013
| By June 7 | Housing registration materials are due from new students. |
| June 8 | Apartments close for GSE students at 5 p.m., Saturday, June, 8. |
| June 10-July 19 | Residence hall assignments are made in payment date order. Roommates are matched per Housing Preference Cards. |
| July 26 | Residence hall assignment emailed to new students. |
August 2013
| By August 2 | Room number and roommate information emailed to new students. |
| August 14 | Early arrival check in for fall athletes. |
| August 22 | Opening Days orientation begins. Residences open for new CLA students at 8 a.m. |
| August 25 | Designated Greek residences, residence halls and apartments open for returning CLA students at 10 a.m. |
| August 26 | First contract meal is breakfast. |
| August 27 | CLA classes begin. |
| August 30 | Last day to change Meal Plans for fall semester |
September 2013
| September 2 | Labor Day. Campus offices are closed. |
October 2013
| October 18 | Mid-semester day. No CLA classes. |
November 2013
| November 28- December 1 | Thanksgiving Vacation. Residences remain open. No meals are served after lunch on Wednesday, November 27th until breakfast on Monday, December 2nd. |
December 2013
| December 6 | Last day of CLA classes. |
| December 7, 8, 11 | CLA Study Days. |
| December 9 | CLA Finals begin. (Check out time is 24 hours after your last final or Sunday noon for Saturday finals.) |
| December 13 | ASP Closing Ceremonies. |
| December 14 | CLA Finals end. Brunch is the last contract meal of the semester. ASP class of 2013 leaves. |
| December 15 | Designated Greek residences and residence halls close at noon. University Apartments, Haseldorf and Kaneko Commons apartments remain open to current residents. |
| By December 16 | Confirm assignments for study abroad students requesting spring 2013 housing. As openings for Spring semester are identified, assignments will be made on a first come, first served basis. |
| December 23-January 1 | Willamette University offices are closed. |
January 2014
| January 2-8 | Make assignments for entering students requesting housing for spring 2014. |
| January 9 | Sororities open at noon (tentative date). |
| January 11 | Registration for entering CLA students. |
| January 11 | Residence halls and designated Greek residences open at noon. (Service Center hours: 12 noon to 5 p.m.) |
| January 12 | Service Center hours: 12 noon to 5 p.m. The first contract meal of the semester is dinner on Sunday, January 12. |
| January 13 | CLA classes begin. |
| January 17 | Last day to change Meal Plans for spring semester. |
February 2014
| February 1 | Willamette Day (172 years since Willamette's founding). |
| February 4 | ASP class of 2014 arrives. |
March 2014
| March 22-March 30 | Spring Break. Residences remain open. No meals are served after lunch on Friday, March 21st until breakfast on Monday, March 31st. |
April 2014
| March 31-April 7 | Greek affiliates sign up for a room in their chapter house for 2014-2015. |
| April 9-14 | Students staying in their current residence sign up for a space for 2014-2015. |
| April 17 | Housing Selection Lottery for 2014-15 (for students requesting a different building). |
| April 25 | Returning student housing assignment confirmation emails for 2014-2015 sent out. |
| April 29 | CLA classes end. |
May 2014
| April 30, May 1, 4 | CLA Study Days. |
