 Scholarships
for $1000 to full time students with GPAs of 3.+ who demonstrate a well-rounded
life & commitment to community service.
In cooperation with corporate
sponsor UbiquiTel, the Tug McGraw Foundation has created the “Diamond
45”/UbiquiTel Regional Scholarship Program to provide monetary support
for those college students that most exemplify Tug McGraw’s positive
spirit and message of “Ya Gotta Believe” both personally and
professionally. Scholarship recipients are selected through a competitive
application process and are expected to demonstrate both academic excellence
and leadership in community activity.
Since its formation in 2004, the Tug McGraw Foundation and UbiquiTel
have worked together to award fifty-four scholarships honoring Tug McGraw
and his perpetual “Ya Gotta Believe” spirit.
