The Surfrider Foundation Scholarship Program awards merit-based scholarships to students who are outstanding members of the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit "grassroots" environmental organization. The students must be enrolled in an accredited university/college and must have a minimum GPA of 3.4 (undergraduate of at least Junior standing) or 3.6 (graduate students). Students must also show interest in the costal marine environment and its issues through a major pertaining to the costal areas or participation in activities, research, or work in costal areas.
The application materials may not be filed electronically, and must be sent via standard mail.
