Congratulations on choosing Willamette University for your undergraduate education.  We hope that you will have a rewarding experience at Willamette and that your time here will lay a solid foundation for your future.

This letter from the Student Accounts Office provides a brief overview of information related to billing for tuition and fees, payment options, the health insurance waiver and other important matters.  For more detailed information, please visit the Student Accounts web pages.

Important Dates:

July 15^th:  Your electronic bill, or E-bill, for fall semester tuition and fees will be available on this date.  Also, a paper bill will be mailed during the week of July 15^th.  Please check your Willamette University e-mail account on July 15th to view a message regarding your electronic bill or click on the following link to access your electronic statement: E-bill access.

August 30^th:  Due date for payment of fall semester tuition and fees.  You can pay your bill through QuikPAY, Willamette’s electronic billing and payment system, or you can make a check payable to Willamette University.  Please include your name and student ID number on your check and mail it to the following address: Willamette University, Attn: Student Accounts, 900 State St, Salem, OR 97301.

September 21^st:  The deadline for opting out of Willamette’s student health insurance plan.  All students attending Willamette half time or more are required to carry health insurance.  If you have coverage under another plan you can opt out of Willamette’s plan.  You can go to the Student Insurance Program web page after July 1st to opt out of Willamette’s plan.

Checklist of things to do:

In addition to the above items under Important Dates, please do the following prior to Opening Days:

• Establish your parent(s) as an authorized payer on QuikPAY, Willamette’s electronic billing and payment system.  Authorized payers have access to your student account statement.  For more information on how to establish your parent as an authorized payer, please refer to our Billing and Payment FAQ web page.
• Complete the following: Authorization to Release Financial Information form and the Undergraduate Student Account Agreement.  Please access the forms through the above links.  Please mail the completed forms to Willamette University, Attn: Student Accounts, 900 State St, Salem, OR 97301.
• Review our payment plan option.  Willamette offers students the option to pay tuition over an 8 to 12 month period.  Willamette’s monthly payment plan is interest-free and is administered by Tuition Management Systems (TMS).  The monthly payment plan has a $75 application fee for the year.  For more information, please call 1-800-722-4867 or visit Tuition Management Systems’ website.
