How to add an event
The Willamette Events Calendar be found by selecting the “Events and Calendars” option from the “News & Events” menu in the cardinal bar on the Willamette homepage or via its direct url: cal.willamette.edu.
Before getting started...
Please make sure that you have prepared ALL of your content, including date, time and location. You will not be able to revise the event once submitted, so all the data should be decided beforehand.
Access the Event Entry Form
Once you reach the events calendar default page, you will find the ”Submit Events” link in the top right-hand corner. Click the “Submit Events” link to access the Event Entry Form.
Fill out the form
Details on how to fill out specific fields in the Event Request Form can be found here.
Once the form is filled, follow the steps seen below.
Complete the form fields and click the “Preview” button found at the bottom right corner of the form.
Fields marked with an * are required to complete the form submission.
Please Note: If your page does not show a preview, but simply re-loads, check the required fields to make sure that you have not missed any. You may have to scroll back up in order to see what you missed. Bright red text will displayed directly below the field that needs to be filled.

Submit to Finish
After clicking "Preview", the page will reload to a preview of your event.
After reviewing your content, choose to go "Back" for revisions or click the "Submit" button to send in your event request.
Your event will be forwarded to the appropriate Calendar administrator(s) for review and approval before being posted to the calendar. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail that your event request has been sent.
