WebEdit Upgrade
Summary: WebEdit will be unavailable 6/28 – 7/3 while an upgrade to the system is performed. This outage will not affect the delivery of web pages, only the ability to update them using WebEdit.
Details:
WebEdit will be unavailable beginning at 1 AM on Friday, June 28th so that a significant upgrade to WebEdit can be conducted. We expect that WebEdit will become available again no later than the morning of July 3rd. During this time period, WebEdit will not be available to make updates to web pages. This outage will not affect the delivery of web pages, only the ability to update them using WebEdit.
If you had anticipated making content edits during that time period, please plan to make them before June 28th or after July 3rd. If for some reason you absolutely need to make content updates during this period, please contact me so me as soon as possible.
Please accept our apologies in advance for the inconvenience of this outage and its expected duration. However, given the nature of the upgrade taking place this extended duration is necessary. We will make every effort to make WebEdit available again as soon as is practical.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Brian Hoyt (bhoyt@willamette.edu, X6517) directly.
