  • Specialty Endorsement Programs

EndorsementWillamette offers three TSPC-approved speciality endorsement programs: the English Speaker of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement Program, the Reading Endorsement Program and the Special Education Program. These programs are intended for licensed teachers with or without master's interested in adding on to their teaching license. Courses are offered in night/weekend in both Salem and the Portland metro area allowing students to complete the endorsement program while employed. Because our programs offer rolling enrollment and are non-cohort based, Willamette's programs are idea for requiring a flexible academic schedule.

  • Adminstrative License Programs

CenterThe Center for Excellence in Teaching within Willamette's Graduate School of Education offers two New Directions in Educational Leadership (NDEL) administrative license programs. Our NDEL programs prepare educational leaders to respond positively, creatively and proactively to: the increasing demands for school and/or district achievement; an increasingly diverse population; a greater reliance on technology; and a commitment to learning, research and ethical administrative practice. The Initial Administrative License Program can ready you to fully enter the dynamic arena of school administration. Our advanced, or Continuing Administrative License Program can significantly enhance your career in educational administration and also paves the way for you to pursue superintendent licensure.
