MAT Candidate Awarded Foundation Fellowship

MAT Aspire 2012 Candidate Brandon Bennett has been awarded the prestigious University Club Foundation's $5,000 merit-based fellowship.

Brandon was selected from among other outstanding graduate students from Willamette's College of Law and Graduate School of Management. The Foundation awards one fellowship each year to each of five Oregon universities (Willamette, Oregon State, Portland State, University of Oregon, and University of Portland).

In addition to the scholarship award, Brandon is granted three years complimentary membership in the University Club of Portland (founded in 1898 by a group of Yale graduates), and admission to three annual events of the University Club Foundation community.

The Foundation was organized by the Club in 1991 to recognize and encourage scholarship, leadership and potential societal contributions among students pursuing graduate education in Oregon.  Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $387,500 to more than 75 students pursuing excellence in academics in the areas of the fine arts, humanities, and sciences.

Please visit the University Club of Portland's website for more information.

Congratulations, Brandon!
