Will Fruhwirth is the associate director of admissions at Willamette University College of Law, where he leads recruitment for the JD, LLM and MLS programs, representing the law school at events throughout the nation. He counsels prospective and incoming students, helping them navigate the application process and choose the right law school for their goals. Fruhwirth has been working with students in higher education since 2008.
Before coming to Willamette in 2016, Fruhwirth spent four years with the admissions team at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, working closely with law school applicants, successfully guiding them through the admissions process and matriculation. Before his move into law school admissions, he worked in academic publishing with a focus on legal scholarship, primarily with Washington University School of Law and Saint Louis University School of Law, as well as publications of the American Bar Association. He got his start in higher education working in libraries throughout the Midwest.
Fruhwirth holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature and international relations from Webster University in Webster Groves, Mo. A native of Nebraska, you can usually find him exploring the wonders of the Pacific Northwest, hiking in the Cascades, gaping at the beauty of the Oregon coast, or running and biking through the streets of Salem.
