Katharine Hoehne serves as the College of Law's admissions counselor and events coordinator. Hoehne joined Willamette Law in November of 2016 with a background in higher education and college admissions. She said the most rewarding part of her job is helping students navigate the process of selecting a school and advising on all of the resources that will aid them in being successful once they arrive on campus. Hoehne works with the JD program, as well as all events from recruitment through matriculation.
Before joining the Willamette team, she worked at her alma mater, The College of Idaho. Hoehne managed a territory, reviewed applications, and assisted with financial aid information and preparing incoming students for orientation. While in college, she worked at the Idaho State Legislature for four years. Additionally, she studied abroad in Argentina and interned in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill.
Hoehne graduated with honors and received her bachelor's degree in international political economy. She also minored in Spanish, journalism, and natural sciences.
