As a national leader in early career MBA education, Willamette's Early Career MBA is specifically designed to prepare students for their first professional career position, career change or advancement.

In just 21 months, Early Career MBA students learn the core principles of management, refine their career interests, develop an in-depth understanding of one or more career areas of interest, and build the portfolio of experience needed to succeed in a competitive job market. Areas of interest include:

Choose the early career format that meets your goals. All formats include the distinctive Willamette MBA “hands-on” learning experience and are dually accredited for business (AACSB International) and public administration (NASPAA).

  • MBA - 21 month early career program that develops the knowledge and real-world experience needed for career entry or career change in business, government and not-for-profit organizations. {learn more}
  • Accelerated MBA – nine to 15 month program for students who have a bachelor degree in business from an AACSB accredited business school and at least two years of professional work experience. {learn more}
  • MBA/JD Joint Degree - four-year program that combines the early career MBA and the Doctor of Jurisprudence. {learn more}
