Geoff Guilfoy serves as a principal at AKT LLP, a professional financial services and consulting firm founded in Oregon in 1973. AKT LLP has approximately 350 employees worldwide and has offices in Lake Oswego and Salem, Oregon; San Diego, California; Anchorage, Alaska; and India.
In his role, Geoff oversees and leads the firm's management consulting practice, and also oversees and leads the firm's services to public sector organizations. Prior to joining AKT LLP, Geoff served in executive management positions in Oregon state government for more than 17 years. He served for 5 years as Deputy Director for the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services and for several years as Assistant Administrator for the Oregon Department of Administrative Services Budget and Management Division
Geoff has a Masters of Business Administration degree from Willamette University Atkinson Graduate School of Management, is a Certified Management Consultant, Certified Government Financial Manager, and also serves as an executive professor at Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management. Geoff currently serves on the Board of Directors of Oregon Public Broadcasting (until 8/31/09) and the Marshall Christensen Foundation.
Geoff regularly speaks and leads seminars on a variety of topics. Most recently, Geoff was a featured speaker at Willamette University's Executive Development Seminar on Social Entrepreneurship and at the University of San Diego's conference on Nonprofit Board Governance.
Geoff, his wife Cheryl, and their two adult children Nichole and Evan have lived in Oregon since 1978. His interests include hiking, volunteering in the community and reading.
