THE FORUM - Willamette MBA Responds to the Economy

From The Dean:

Dear Prospective Willamette MBA Student,

You’ve chosen the perfect time to consider a Willamette MBA.  And while the economy is challenging, we continue to make significant investments in our curriculum and the faculty who deliver it.

Willamette University enjoys a strong financial position and has taken special steps to ensure that each of our high-quality degree programs is financially accessible.

As a private, not-for-profit institution, Willamette University does not rely on state subsidies.  Thus, we are moving forward with a number of important investments.  Specifically:

  • The Willamette MBA continues to increase the size of our MBA faculty. A low student-to-faculty ratio ensures that you experience a contemporary, active curriculum taught by outstanding teachers and scholars.
  • The Willamette MBA continues to expand curricular options.
  • The Willamette MBA continues to invest in your career through a wide range of networking and leadership opportunities.  We have expanded our internship program, career services offerings, and student professional organizations.
  • The Willamette MBA’s curriculum in business, government and not-for-profit management offers you more career choices and opportunities to pursue your individual interests.
  • Financial aid packages are available to cover the entire cost of earning a Willamette MBA.

These investments are indicative of our commitment to student success and to expanding and enhancing the high quality experience that is the Willamette MBA.  We are delighted to make these investments right along with you.

Congratulations on your interest in the Willamette MBA – a career building, life changing experience. We are ready and able to assist you as you take this important step.  Please contact us with questions or requests for additional information.

Best wishes,

Debra
