Obtaining Access to Vignettes

Designed for faculty, trainers and practitioners, the Global Human Resource Management in Action vignettes are free to use to advance the instruction of Global HR in a variety of instructional settings. Designed by Lisbeth Claus, Associate Professor of Global Human Resource Management at Willamette University, each vignette allows the reader to experience specific, relevant topics in a concise format. Vignettes are followed by guided reading questions to stimulate discussion and interaction.

To obtain the Global Human Resource Management in Action vignettes free of charge:

1. Send a password request to Professor Lisbeth Claus at lclaus@willamette.edu
2. Log on to www.willamette.edu/mba/global_hr to download the vignettes using your username and password
3. Incorporate the materials into your training sessions or class discussions to explore the global side of human resource management

These instructional vignettes provide a wide variety of global HR practice examples from companies in different parts of the world. Several of these vignettes have been incorporated in the third edition of the International Human Resource Management textbook by Briscoe, Schuler and Claus (Routledge, 2008).
