WELCOME TO COMPASS WEEK 2009 - Career Management, Academics (Knowlege), Experiential Learning...

All incoming students to the Full-Time MBA programs participate in a three day event known as Compass Week. Compass Week introduces new students to their classmates and returning students, and to the faculty, staff, programs and procedures at the Atkinson school.

Compass Week includes workshops, guest speakers, panels, presentations by Atkinson faculty, staff, and alumni, a team-building retreat off-campus, and a day at Willamette Valley Vineyards.

Wear athletic apparel (jeans not preferred) and tennis shoes, you will take part in physical team activities and hands-on problem solving challenges.  You participate at your own level of comfort.

Definitions of Dress

  • Business Attire: Business attire typically means a jacket for both men and women. A tie for men, button down shirt, matching slacks and dress shoes. For women, business attire would typically mean a skirt or slacks, jacket, button down shirt or shell with clear or solid color nylons and close toed shoes.
  • Athletic Attire: Sports clothing (no jeans) with tennis shoes and comfortable, loose clothing for physical activity (to your level of comfort).
