Billions of dollars are spent in schools to integrate technology in education. When is it worth it? Steve Rhine has acquired two separate million dollar technology education grants and recently published the book Integrated Technologies, Innovative Learning: Insights from the PT3 Program.
“Algebra is the gatekeeper between students and college. Why is it so hard for students to pass? My research into misconceptions in algebra explores the challenges that students and teachers face in learning algebra. I taught high school mathematics for 11 years and am currently working on a book, The Teacher’s Handbook of Algebraic Thinking and Misconceptions.
