A tax law specialist, Professor O’Reilly received a law degree from Yale and a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford. He went on to clerk on the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. O’Reilly practiced law for five years with the New York law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell. He also taught at New York University School of Law before joining the Willamette faculty in 2003. He teaches Federal Income Tax, International Tax, Corporate Finance and other related courses.
