Willamette University Professor Joyce Millen is the former director of Harvard’s Institute for Health and Social Justice (of Partners In Health) and was a lecturer at Harvard Medical School. She is available to speak with reporters about the health impacts of social and economic change, the causes of and America’s role in ending the global AIDS pandemic, and African peoples and cultures in general. Millen is co-editor and author of the critically acclaimed book, Dying for Growth: Global Inequality and the Health of the Poor, and co-author of Global AIDS: Myths and Facts.
