About HFMA



The Museum is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.
We are located at 700 State Street (corner State and Cottages Streets), Salem, Oregon, and the telephone number is 503/370-6855.

The Museum is closed in observance of Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), and Willamette University's Winter Break, December 24 through January 1. In addition to the regular operating hours, the Museum maintains an active schedule of special events. For a complete listing, please see the Calendar of Events.

Free Admission to the following:
  • Children 12 and under
  • Willamette University faculty, staff, and students
  • Hallie Ford Museum of art members
  • School Groups (by prior appointment)
  • American Association of Museum members
  • Tuesday is free for all

The Hallie Ford Museum of Art is wheelchair accessible on both floors via an elevator at the front of the building. A wheelchair is available for visitor use. The loading zone in front of the building can be utilized for a short time in order to drop off and pick up visitors.
