2009 Salem World Beat Festival

Willamette University is a community co-sponsor of the Salem World Beat Festival, going on this weekend (June 27-28) at Riverfront Park.  This year's theme is "Into Africa," and features two days of non-stop music, dance, folklore, food and much more. If you have not attended the World Beat Festival previously, it is a wonderful educational and entertainment opportunity for people of all ages.

Admission is free, although a $3 donation at the gate is suggested.  Part of the proceeds will benefit A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village.
