Willamette University Among Top 100 of Nationally Ranked Liberal Arts Colleges
U.S.News and World Report listed Willamette University in the top tier of liberal arts colleges nationally, ranking the university 62nd overall in the new issue of America's Best Colleges 2010. The magazine's ranking formula takes account of factors such as SAT scores, student/faculty ratio, peer reputation, and alumni giving.
The U.S. News' top rankings for Willamette follow recent accolades for the University, including being featured in The Princeton Review’s 2010 edition of “The Best 371 Colleges,” listed among Sierra Magazine’s top 20 “Cool Schools” as one of the nation’s greenest universities, and named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll in 2009 for exemplary service to America’s communities.
Additionally, Willamette’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management was named to Forbes magazine’s top 75 “Best Business Schools” for 2009, and was named a “Top 15 Program for Preparing Students for Marketing” by The Princeton Review.
