Organized by Willamette University professor Rebecca Dobkins and Crow's Shadow Master Printer Frank Janzen, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art will feature "The Third Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts Biennial" from Oct. 2 through Nov. 28. The exhibition includes a selection of recent, contemporary prints by Native American artists from throughout the United States.

As a special feature, artists Ric Gendron and Wendy Red Star Wolf will discuss their work Oct. 8 from 6-7 p.m. in the museum's Roger Hull Lecture Hall. Admission is free.

In addition, an ongoing series of gallery talks about the exhibition will be offered every Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. from Oct. 9 through Nov. 13, with the exception of Oct. 23. Gallery talks will be presented by Willamette University students and are included in the regular price of admission to the museum.

"The Third Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts Biennial" has been supported by an endowment gift from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, through their Spirit Mountain Community Fund. Additional support has been provided by grants from the City of Salem's Transient Occupancy Tax funds and the Oregon Arts Commission.
