The Hallie Ford Museum of Art is pleased to participate in the Salem Rotary Club drive to support the Marion-Polk Food Share (MPFS). During the month of March, bring in 2 canned or packaged food items and receive a free admission to the museum.
According to MPFS, last year one in five families in our community received a food box. 108,000 emergency food boxes were distributed to families in need. Each month, more than 9,000 families receive aid through a network of 98 hunger-relief partners. Children comprise about 40 percent of those eating from food boxes — that’s over 14,000 children each month.
We hope you will join us in this effort as Willamette University strives to surpass our one ton food drive goal by the end of this month.
