Star professors speak at Faculty Colloquium

At a Faculty Colloquium on April 25, Willamette University professors and students gathered to exchange ideas and learn about best teaching practices.

The presenters were all Oregon Professors of the Year — an honor bestowed by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Higher Education.

The award recognizes outstanding undergraduate instructors who excel in teaching and who positively influence the lives and careers of students.

Eleven Willamette faculty members have been named an Oregon Professor of the Year since 1989, more than any other university in Oregon.
