Willamette launches second 24 Hours of Giving event

by Nina Lauer,

The second 24 Hours of Giving event is Tuesday, Feb. 23. This day-long campaign is designed to increase the number of alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends who give back to the university through financial gifts, volunteering and advocacy.

Let’s help Bearcats around the world know about 24 Hours of Giving by updating your social media pictures and status on this date.

Faculty & Staff — Stay tuned for emails from your esteemed colleagues throughout the day, and take advantage of matching funds by contributing to what matters most to you at Willamette University. Feel free to stop by the Annual Giving office on the third floor of Waller Hall for a free 24 Hours of Giving T-shirt, while supplies last.

All Students (CLA, AGSM, WUCL) — Keep your eyes open for information on campus about a Willamette photo contest on Tuesday, Feb. 23. You could win one of five $50 gift cards to restaurants in downtown Salem just by using #WU24 on Instagram or emailing your photo to wu24@willamette.edu. Also on this day, don’t forget to stop by the tables on the first floor of the UC, Goudy, Rick’s Café, and outside of the first-floor student lounge in Mudd from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for free cupcakes.
