Willamette University ChapterBest Buddies Dance - 10/23/06
The Best Buddies dance was held on 10/23/06 in the Cat Cavern and a GREAT time was had by all. There were some excellent costumes, excellent guests, and excellent hosts. Special thanks to our chairpeople for organizing the event with such short notice, and for making it memorable.

S3: Saturday of Service in Seattle - 10/13/06 to 10/15/06
The students from Willamette University had an excellent time visiting with Circle K'ers from all around the North-West, and we enjoyed getting a lot of service accomplished! Thanks to the students at University of Washington for hosting and organizing the event.

Painting at the Children's Guild - 9/23/06
Circle K kicked off service projects in a big way this year with the trip to the Children's Guild in West Salem. There we helped taped windows, painted, and had an overall good time. We also had the opportunity to learn about the wide range of therapy they provide for children and the educational programs they run for adults. We'd like to thank the coordinators and maintenance crew at the Children's Guild for being so friendly and such good hosts. Thanks to all of the Circle K members who showed up and made this a memorable event!

Humane Society Folding - 9/20/06
A big thanks to everyone who came to the meeting Wednesday and helped out with the foldings for the Humane Society auction. We got a lot done, and it was a lot of fun getting to know everyone. Thanks to Steve for arranging this for us.Announcements:

T-Shirts
Please get $10 in to Kenny as soon as possible so we can get our t-shirts for the year. The shirts will be in maroon with white ink and will have the Circle Compass on the back, and will say We Are the Change on the back.

Make a difference day
Saturday, 10am at Bush Elementary. Help clean-up the community, paint buildings, and just have fun with friends and neighbors! We will meet at 9:55am SHARP in Kaneko lounge if you want to walk across the street together, but if not, come and go when you can! The event should last about 3-4 hours.

Next Friday Circle K will be in Seattle for S3, Saturday of Service in Seattle! If you plan on attending make sure you have sent Susanna your registration form and that she knows you're coming.
